David Moen earned the shutout in goal.
The Muskies then followed up Friday night’s win with another solid effort here Saturday afternoon, doubling the Red Lake Falls Eagles 4-2 in exhibition action.
Hebert once again opened the scoring for the Muskies.
Red Lake Falls took the lead with a pair of markers, but late goals from Brian Glavish and Mitch Green gave the black-and-gold a 3-2 advantage after one period.
Taylor Jorgenson rounded out the scoring with his 17th goal of the season in the second period.
Rich Wieringa got the win between the pipes.
In other Muskie hockey action, the girls’ squad rallied from an early two-goal deficit to earn a 4-2 victory over the Silver Bay Mariners in exhibition action at the Ice for Kids Arena on Saturday night.
