The Muskie football team spoiled the party in Dryden on Friday night.
The black-and-gold battled to a 21-17 victory over the host Eagles in what was the first-ever night game to be played at Harry McMaster Field.
Colton Craig provided all of the offence the Muskies needed, finding the end zone three times during the game.
The Eagles had a chance to win the game late as they drove down to the six-yard line. But the defence stood tall with an interception in the back of the end zone to seal the victory.
The Muskies now are tied with Dryden for fifth in the WHSFL’s Currie Division standings at 2-4, but hold the tie-breaker over the Eagles thanks to their head-to-head win.
Fort High will wrap up its regular-season schedule, and look to improve on its playoff seeding, against the St. John’s Tigers this Thursday (Oct. 20) at 5 p.m. in Winnipeg.
The playoffs will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 26.
