The Muskie boys’ hockey team cruised to a 7-1 win over the host Kenora Broncos on Tuesday night to remain undefeated in NorWOSSA play.
The black-and-gold currently sit atop the league standings with a perfect 7-0 record—one point clear of the second-place Dryden Eagles, with two games in hand.
Ryan Witherspoon led the Muskies with a pair of goals against Kenora while Pat Bobczynski, Brian Glavish, Kyle Turgeon, Zach McCool, and Blake Wepruk added singles.
Rich Wierenga earned the win between the pipes.
The Muskies resume NorWOSSA action tomorrow (Friday) at 7:30 p.m. when they host the Dryden Eagles at Ice for Kids Arena.
The squad then will travel to Duluth on Boxing Day to compete in the annual Marshall Hilltoppers’ tournament Dec. 26-28.
