After being postponed Friday due to poor travelling conditions, the NorWOSSA playoffs got underway this morning in Kenora, with all four Muskie teams vying for gold.
Both Muskie girls’ volleyball teams were involved in semi-final action this morning, with the junior girls facing the host Broncos at 10 a.m. while the senior girls also took on Kenora at 11:30 a.m.
Meanwhile, the Muskie junior boys’ basketball team squared off with Kenora at 10 a.m. in a semi-final battle.
The outcomes were not available as of press time.
It will be a long day for the Fort High senior boys’ basketball team.
By finishing the regular season in first place, they earned a bye to the NorWOSSA final, which tips off tonight at 8 p.m. against either the host Broncos or Dryden Eagles.
