Muskie teams in action today

All four Muskie court teams, along with the boys’ and girls’ hockey squads, are in action today.
The boys’ hockey team, coming off a two-game sweep of the Red Lake Rams over the weekend, are in Dryden tonight gunning for their third-straight win over the Eagles in NorWOSSA play.
The first-place Muskies sport a 9-1 record—their lone loss coming here last Tuesday against the Kenora Broncos.
The squad also boasts the league’s top three scorers in Tyler Miller (12 goals and eight assists), Josh Sigurdson (eight goals/eight assists), and Brian White (seven goals/nine assists).
Meanwhile, the Muskie girls’ hockey team, also coming off a two-game sweep of Red Lake over the weekend, will host Baudette in exhibition action tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Ice for Kids Arena.
The black-and-gold will be looking to sweep the season series after having nipped Baudette 5-4 there in late November.
The Muskies are 4-7-1 in NorWOSSA play.
And at Fort High, the court teams are hosting the Dryden Eagles. The senior squads square off at 3:30 p.m., followed by the juniors at 5 p.m.
The Muskie junior boys’ basketball team sports a 1-3 record at the midway point of the season. Their lone win came against the Eagles.
The senior boys—winless in four games—lost 55-33 to Dryden the last time they met.
The Muskie junior girls’ volleyball team also is 0-4 in NorWOSSA action but are expected to contend today against the Eagles.
The 2-2 senior squad, meanwhile, is looking for its second-straight win over Dryden.
