Muskie swimmers compete at OFSAA

Three Muskie swimmers had qualified for the OFSAA swimming championships, which wrapped up yesterday at the Etobicoke Olympium in Toronto.
Heather Dutton, competing in the senior girls’ division, finished fifth in the 200m free with a time of 2:14.72 and came eighth in the 100m Open fly with a time of 1:09.06.
Karli McKinnon also competed in the senior girls’ division, where she finished 14th in the 100m Open fly (1:10.64) and then 13th in the 200 IM Open (her time was not known by press time).
Meanwhile, Rachel Dutton finished 21st with a time of 30.28 in the junior girls’ 50m Open free with a time of 30.28 and was 22nd in the senior girls’ Open 100m free (1:06.11).
Almost 1,000 swimmers competed at OFSAA this year.
