A pair of Muskies had good showings against the top high school cross-country runners in the province as they competed at the all-Ontario championships Saturday in Brampton.
Grade 9 student Sydney Radigan finished in 140th place out of 264 runners in the girls’ Midget event.
The first-year runner completed the three-km course in a time of 14:05.
Also representing the black-and-gold was Grade 10 student Hailey Beaudry, who was competing in her first-ever provincials.
Going up against 265 other runners in the junior girls’ race, Beaudry completed the four-km courses in 174th spot with a time of 18:58.
