Muskies athletes have done their school and town proud over the past few weeks.


The Fort Frances Muskies Boys and Girls Golf teams have been practicing at the Heron Landing Golf Course this season, with meets in Red Lake and Kenora. The top five boys and two girls on the team will be heading to Thunder Bay this week, to compete for Nwossa.

Runners from the Muskie Cross Country team attended a meet in Kenora last week, as they compete for a place in OFSAA in November. The team also took part in the annual Pi Run at Kay-Nah-Chi-Wah-Nung Historical Centre on September 28.
The Cross Country season is well underway, with Muskies bringing home first place ribbons at a meet at St Thomas Aquinas, in Kenora. Left to right are first place ribbon winners Paisley Riches (Girls 9/10 5k), Bryden Strachan (Girls 7/8 2.5 k) and Gage Kellar (Boys 7/8 2.5 K).
The Senior Boys Volleyball team earned the top spot, to emerge as champions of their tournament in Kenora last week.
