Muskie LB wins appeal

Cody Bell will get to take part in the Homecoming game after all.
The Muskie linebacker successfully appealed his one-game suspension from the WHSFL after being ejected from last Friday’s road game versus the Daniel McIntyre Maroons.
Bell got involved in an altercation with Maroons’ receiver Adrean Dianelo in the second quarter of Fort High’s 38-3 loss.
Dianelo ended up on the bottom of the tussle, but it was determined through video footage that Dianelo had as good a grip on Bell as the Muskie defender did on him.
That led WHSFL commissioner Rick Henkewich to nullify the suspension.
“The commissioner was very generous with [Bell],” said Muskie head coach Mike Cuzzolino.
Fort High (1-3) will host the College Lorette Collegiate Scorpions (2-3) in the team’s annual Homecoming game tomorrow.
Kick-off is at 2 p.m.
