The Muskie boys’ golf team suffered a bit of a setback in their second tournament of the NorWOSSA season in Red Lake on Tuesday.
The black-and-golf finished fourth with a combined team total of 360 (best four scores out of five).
Host Red Lake took top spot by carding a 349 while Kenora and Dryden tied for second at 352.
Kevin Jackson shot the low round for Fort High with an 81.
Cody Ward and Ryan Mosbeck each carded scores of 92 while Zach Jolicoeur had the fourth-best score with a 95.
Abraham Germaine (98), Davis Ross (100), and Jacob Dokuchie (110) rounded out the Muskie contingent.
The black-and-gold had finished second at the season-opening tournament in Atikokan last week with a 343 total.
The team next travels to Dryden on Tuesday (Sept. 22) for the season’s final tune-up before the NWOSSAA championship, which includes teams from Thunder Bay.
That tournament will take place at the Heron Landing Golf Course on Couchiching on Oct. 1.
