It may have been 20 minutes down the road but the Muskie girls’ hockey team looked right at home in Emo last night, blanking the Lake of the Woods Bears 5-0.
Goalie Sara Trendiak stopped any and everything the visitors from Baudette could muster while the Muskie offence countered with a pair of goals by Lauren Krukoski and singles by Miranda Kellar, Deanna Saunders, and Kailey Curtis.
In related news, the squad will host its annual Christmas tea tomorrow (Saturday) from 1-3:30 p.m. at the East End Hall.
Admission is $2, and everyone is welcome to attend.
