A three-goal outburst early in the second period sparked the Warroad Warriors to a 7-1 exhibition win over the Muskie girls’ hockey team here last night.
Warroad netted the lone goal of the first, then jumped ahead 4-0 early in the second.
The score was 5-0 in the third when Annalise (C.C.) Hayes netted the Muskies’ lone goal.
The Warriors later added a pair of goals to seal the victory.
Kamryn Sandelovich faced 49 shots in taking the loss.
The team held its annual alumni game today starting at 3:45 p.m. at the ’52 Canadians Arena.
The squad then will take part in the Warroad Warriors’ tournament Dec. 26-28.
The Muskies are slated to face the host Warriors on Dec. 26 at 6 p.m., then will face Dodge County on Dec. 27 at 5 p.m.
They’ll close out play Dec. 28 at noon against Minot.
