The Muskie girls’ hockey team handed out individual awards at its year-end banquet Monday night.
Winners were as follows:
•Rookie of the Year—Jillian Langtry
•Most Improved—Jessica Taggart
•Most Sportsmanlike—Haven Labbe
•Most Dedicated—Erika Anderson
•Coaches’ Award—Anikka McTavish
•Most Valuable Player—Taylor Meyers
The graduating class of Taylor Meyers, Lauren Krukoski, Haven Labbe, Kailey Curtis, Sara Trendiak, and Kristen Penner also were honoured for their hockey careers with the black-and-gold.
The Muskies were ousted from the NorWOSSA semi-finals in a third-and-deciding game by a 4-3 outcome against the Kenora Broncos early last month.
