After a 4-2 regular season, the Fort Frances High School Muskies will host the John Taylor Pipers in a quarterfinal matchup in the Winnipeg High School Football League this Friday.
The Muskies wrapped the regular season last week with a 19-0 victory over the Daniel McIntyre Maroons, good enough to finish third in the standings behind the St. Norbert Celtics (6-0) and the Beaver Brae Broncos (5-1).
The John Taylor Pipers finished in sixth place with a 2-4 record.
Elsewhere in the Currie Division quarterfinals, the Broncos will take on the Portage Trojans in Kenora, the St. Norbert Celtics will take on the St. John’s Tigers in Winnipeg, and the Dryden Eagles will take on the Churchill Bulldogs in Dryden.
Semifinal games will take place a week later in Winnipeg.
