The Muskie senior boys’ doubles team of Tim Desjardins and Jamie Jensen advanced to the all-Ontarios after finishing second in their division at the NWOSSAA championships yesterday in Wawa.
The pair defeated Keough/Heath (Manitouwadge), fell to O’Connor/Campbell (Manitouwadge), then beat both MacQuarrie/Desaulniers (Atikokan) and Cameron/Migliazza (St. Ignatius).
The provincial showdown is slated for May 1-3 in Niagara Falls/St. Catharines.
Meanwhile, Rory Bagacki (junior boys’ singles), Chelsea Carlson (junior girls’ singles), and Jillian Berry/Hannah Taylor (junior girls’ doubles) all finished third in their respective divisions at Wawa.
