The Muskie court teams extended their dominance over the Kenora Broncos early in the season.
The black-and-gold took three of four from the visiting Broncos yesterday as both boys’ volleyball teams and the senior girls’ basketball squad all pulled out victories.
The junior volleyball team (3-1) swept their best-of-five showdown with Kenora, winning by scores of 25-23, 25-17, and 25-15.
Meanwhile, the seniors (2-2) had a see-saw battle. After winning the first set 27-25, Fort High dropped the next two 25-23 and 28-26.
But the home side rallied with 25-18 and 15-10 wins to capture the match in five sets.
On the hardwood, the Muskie senior girls improved to 4-0 with a 45-3 rout over the Broncos.
The juniors girls (2-2) were the only team to fall yesterday, squandering a 14-13 halftime lead en route to a 24-17 loss.
