The Muskie boys’ hockey team doubled the River East Kodiaks 4-2 last night in their opening round-robin game at the Winnipeg High School Hockey League’s Tournament of Champions.
Matt McLellan, Kyle Turgeon, Taylor Jorgenson, and Patrick Bobczynski each scored for the black-and-gold.
Goalie David Moen picked up the win.
The Muskies are back on the ice tonight when they square off against the Mathieu-Martin Matadors (New Brunswick).
Game time is scheduled of 6 p.m.
