Muskie boys win in romp

In a battle of first versus worst in NorWOSSA boys’ hockey, the high-flying Muskies trounced the winless Kenora Broncos 9-2 last night at the ’52 Canadians Arena here.
“Our concern lately has been the goal scoring,” head coach Shane Bliss said. “Tonight we got a few to go in and that was what we needed.”
Leading the charge for the Muskies offensively were Matt McLellan and Mike Jourdain, who each scored a pair of goals.
Rounding out the scoring for the black-and-gold were Brian Glavish, Joe Basaraba, George Halverson, Pat Bobczynski, and Riley Caul.
The Muskies return to the ice this Saturday (Jan. 20) at 1:15 p.m. at the Ice for Kids Arena for an exhibition game against the Eveleth-Gilbert Golden Bears.
