By the end of Saturday, the Red Lake Rams probably were ready to pay for gas for the Muskie boys’ hockey team’s bus ride home.
The sooner the black-and-gold got out of town, the better for their humbled hosts.
Fort High (9-1 in NorWOSSA played) burned out a few goal-light bulbs Friday and Saturday, trouncing the Rams (2-10) by scores of 13-2 on Friday and 18-2 on Saturday.
Goal scorers were not available for either game by press time.
The Muskies host Red Lake tomorrow at the special start time of 10 a.m. in a make-up game from Dec. 9, with admission being free.
Meanwhile, the Muskie girls (10-0 in NorWOSSA) head to Kenora today for a game against the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints.
