The black-and-gold fell 2-1 to Fort Richmond (Winnipeg), with Anniss Seid netting their lone goal.
Fort High had opened the tournament with a 2-0 over St. Paul’s (Winnipeg) on Friday afternoon thanks to goals from Dave Chambers and Brandon McGinnis and a shutout performance by keeper Scott Parsons.
Their other round-robin contest in Group ‘B’ saw the Muskies come out on the losing end of a dramatic 3-2 decision to Miles Macdonnell (Winnipeg).
The Buckeyes scored the game-winning goal in the dying moments of extra time after they were forced to play with 10 men.
Chambers scored his second goal of the weekend on a penalty kick while Jeff Gustafson notched the Muskies’ other goal against Miles Mac.
