Three Muskie badminton doubles’ teams have punched their tickets to the NWOSSAA championships next Wednesday (April 22) in Thunder Bay.
The highly-touted senior boys’ duo of Rory Bagacki and Tim Desjardins coasted through their bracket at the NorWOSSA final yesterday in Dryden with a perfect 5-0 record.
The senior girls’ duo of Kimiki Alexander and Chelsea Carlson also advanced with a flawless 5-0 mark.
Joining those two teams in Thunder Bay will be the junior girls’ doubles squad of Hannah Taylor and Jillian Berry, who also finished at 5-0.
Failing to advance were Robert Stevens and Cody Heyens (junior boys’ doubles), Dan Murray and Erika Kozar (junior mixed doubles), Shawnee and Ben Morrisseau (senior mixed doubles), and Peter Jensen (senior boys’ singles).
