The local men’s basketball circuit tipped off Monday at the Fort High gym with Domino’s bouncing the Muskie senior boys’ team 73-60 while La Place Rendez-Vous downed Taggs 68-60.
John Sivonen led the Domino’s attack with 22 points while Jeremy Strain netted 18 in a losing effort for the Muskies.
Brad Wardas, meanwhile, had 17 for the Vous, with Morgan Anderson scoring a game-high 18 for Taggs.
Next Monday’s action opens at 6:30 p.m. with the Vous taking on the Muskies.
The late game at 8 p.m. will feature Domino’s against Taggs.
