Men’s fastball playoffs underway

The Rainy River District Fastball League post-season began in earnest last night with two games in the West Division and one in the East.
In the West, Rainy River played host to the Stratton Eagles while the Lakers welcomed the last-place Goldeneyes in an all-Sabaskong battle.
Over in the East, the Raiders battled the Northwest Bay Chieftains in Couchiching while the Manitou Thunderbirds forfeited their game to Windey’s Warriors.

Tomorrow’s Winner’s Side games in the East will see the Barwick Blue Knights battling the winner of the Royals and Eagles game while the Dawson Tigers will face the winner of the Lakers and Goldeneyes matchup.
In the East, the top-ranked Braves will take on the winner of the Raiders and Chieftains game while the Warriors will tangle with the Sight & Sound Wolves.
