MEC summer fish derby results

Over 35 anglers got their rods and reels out for the MEC summer fish derby Saturday at Crow Rock beach landing, as they competed in four categories.
Steve Ballan took first place in the walleye category, with Lauren Krueger, Sherie Redford and Kamika Alexander coming in second, third and fourth place.
Irene Henry took top spot in the Northern division, followed by Son Sonnasinh (second), Rick Cunningham (third) and Sarah Chabot (fourth).
Cecil Mosbeck beat out all competition, placing first in the bass category. Janet Holden, Colleen Beck, and Arlene Georgeson came in second, third and fourth place respectively.
The “other” division, which could include perch, crappie, etc, was won by Greg Halvorsen, with Duff Mosbeck coming in second, Rodger Skirten placing third, and Judy Kaufman ranking fourth.
The consolation winners were as follows: D.J.
