Jaymee Fiset keeps on scoring—and the Main Street Mayhem keep on winning.
Fiset netted a pair of goals to pace the Mayhem (4-0) to a 5-3 victory over the Wright Physiotherapy Rockettes (0-3-1) in Borderland Women’s Indoor Soccer League last night at Fort High.
The tallies gave Fiset a league-leading 10 goals on the season—four ahead of Sydney Radigan of the Cater 2 U Queens.
Claire Hyatt, meanwhile, had a two-goal game for the second-straight week for Main Street while Abby Sanders added a single.
Nicole Renberg mirrored Hyatt’s feat by also notching a pair for the second-consecutive game in a losing cause.
Stephanie Mann had the Rockettes’ other goal.
In the other game last night, the Boston Pizza Ball Blasters (0-3-1) were their own worst enemy in a 4-0 loss to the Queens (3-1).
The Ball Blasters were guilty of scoring twice on their own net, to go along with Queens’ goals by Mandy Armstrong and Faith Pollard.
Action resumes next Wednesday (Feb. 26) with Wright Physiotherapy facing Boston Pizza at 7 p.m.
Main Street then will clash with Cater 2 U at 8:15 p.m.
