The four Muskie court teams likely won’t make up cancelled matches against the Dryden Eagles until February.
The squads were supposed to square off here last Thursday (Dec. 13) but the matches were cancelled when the Eagles couldn’t travel to town due to inclement weather.
Fort High athletic director John Gibson said in an e-mail the matches tentatively have been re-scheduled for Monday, Feb. 11—just three days before the NorWOSSA playoffs are held Feb. 14 in Kenora.
The Muskies wrapped their season last night in Kenora, with the senior boys basketball team beat the Broncos by a 65-44 score and the junior boys beating their Beaver Brae counterparts 51-35.
Scores for the senior and junior girls volleyball games against the Broncos were not available as of press time.
The teams won’t return to NorWOSSA action until Tuesday, Jan. 8 back in Kenora.
Their next home games will be on Thursday, Jan. 10 against Dryden.
