The local trio of Don Smeeth, Annelise Hawrylak, and Geoffrey Smeeth bowled over the competition at the Master/Bantam tournament here Sunday, earning a berth to the provincial showdown March 11-12 in Thunder Bay.
They combined to finish a whopping +403 over their average in the six-game roll-off–well ahead of the Dryden trio of Brenda Hazelwood, Chris Sanders, and Megan Rushuak (+284).
Taking third was the Dryden team of Stan Hazelwood, Scott Gushulak, and Brittany Botos (+232), followed by the local trio of Janet Ellis, Darren Vlassoff, and Kayla Brady (+197).
