Four local atheletes took part in the 25th-annual Brewhouse Triathlon in Duluth over the weekend, with two besting their previous times and two trying the triathlon for the first time.
Lori Green swam, ran, and biked her way to a 2:13:47 finish, shaving two full minutes off her first triathlon—the Paul Bunyan in Bemidji last month.
She was second in her age division and 85th to cross the finish line overall.
Jason Kabel, meanwhile, finished in a time of 2:14:51—one minute faster than his time at the Paul Bunyan.
He was 10th in his age division and 92nd overall.
Angela Petsnick participated in the shorter sprint course, finishing in 1:24:34 to sit 252nd overall, while Terri-Lee Tremblay completed the race in 1:37:29 (364th).
