Several swimmers with the Fort Frances Aquanauts and one from the Cyclone Swim Club are competing in the annual Prairie Winter International swim meet in Winnipeg.
Aquanauts Heather Dutton, 18, Rachel Dutton, 14, Nichole Lowey, 13, and Tahsha Schabler, 14, are scheduled to compete in the 800m free event, which is being held today.
The other events are being held tomorrow through Sunday, which will see swimmers from across the country take part.
Other Aquanauts who qualified for the meet include Rebecca Armit, 12, Nicole Fontana, 13, Jessica Lowey, 11, Karli McKinnon, 16, and Alex Parent, 15.
The lone Cyclone to qualify was Peter Jensen, 12.
