The Border Skating Club snared 14 top-three finishes at the Sunset Country regional championships in Kenora over the weekend.

Halliday, Plasky and Fedoruk will be in Sault Ste. Marie this weekend competing in the ‘Festival of Stars’ that begins on Friday and concludes on Sunday.
The trio will be looking to place high enough to advance to the Skate Ontario Championships in Port Colborne from March 17-19.
As for the entire club, its final meet of the season comes March 3-5 when the locals compete in the Thunder Bay Open.
The event will feature a seminar for all the skaters attending the event led by three-time world men’s champion and two-time Canadian Olympic silver medalist Elvis Stojko and nationally-acclaimed coach Monica Lockie.
