Local skaters prepare to go ‘Around the World’

A sure sign spring is right around the corner is the Border Skating Club’s annual ice show.
The ice show has become a major attraction in the Fort Frances area and one of the most entertaining spring events. This year’s extravaganza will be no exception.
The club has continued its time-honoured tradition for the past 31 years, creating treasured memories for all the dedicated skaters and coaches involved—and a strong sense of pride in the hearts of parents and the community that supports it.
As we prepare for the 32nd-annual ice show, we invite you to be a part of the creation of new memories and experience the extraordinary talent of all the skaters.
On April 3-4, the Border Skating Club will take you for a spin around the globe, featuring performances from countries “Around the World.”
The first show will be held Saturday, April 3 at 7 p.m. will the second one is slated for Sunday, April 4 at 1 p.m. at the Ice For Kids Arena.
Advanced tickets are now available at Skates and Blades, Sears, Safeway, Gagné Pharmacy, and the front desk at the Memorial Sports Centre.
Tickets cost $10 for a weekend pass, $7 for an adult pass, and $4 for seniors (55+) and children (aged four-12). Children three and under are free.
Advanced ticket sales will end two hours prior to the first performance, but still tickets will be available at the door for an additional $1.
