A last-minute change in plans made for a quiet night in the Fort Frances Women’s Volleyball League.
Eight of the 12 teams were left without a place to play when the league got late word that the Fort High gym would not be available last night due to early preparations for today’s NorWOSSA playoffs.
That left only St. Michael’s School for the evening’s action–and also created the need for a flurry of make-up games later this season.
Of those that did play, Kiss My Pass garnered the maximum six points to up their second-place total to 84–four back of idle league-leading How I Set Your Mother.
No Diggity sits in third with 75, followed by Let’s Talk About Sets (three points last night) at 58.
Gillons’ also grabbed three points to move into a fifth-place tie with idle Scared Hitless (56), followed by Bump It Up (49), One Hit Wonders (38), and The Inseiners (28).
Serves You Right (24) was skunked last night to remain stuck in 10th place (24).
Arm & Hammer (20) and Rockstars (eight) round out the standings.
Action resumes next Thursday at 7 p.m.
