Legion Br. #29 here will host a mixed team darts tournament in honour of Arlan Scott this Saturday (Feb. 2).
Register by 1 p.m. and play will begin once organized. The focus of the tournament is fun and to encourage players of all levels–even those who have not ever thrown a dart.
Scott loved the game and always was known for having fun–and would let you know it when he beat you.
He also was a regular Wednesday night player and never missed a night for three years.
As well, Scott was a loyal member of Br. #29 and was employed at various jobs.
He always was willing to lend a hand and because of his generosity in helping various bands set up, a mash of musicians will gather to play in honour of Scott on Saturday evening and donate their contributions to the tournament.
The local branch encourages all who knew Scott to come on down and enter the tournament. And if not, just to come visit, play crib, shuffleboard, or pool and prepare for dance and song.

Then on Sunday, Tymkin tallied once to help pace the Knights to a 5-3 victory over the Oshawa Generals.
All told, the 19-year-old had racked up 19 goals and 21 assists through 46 games this season, to go along with a +16 rating.
