It’s getting down to the wire in the Fort Frances Women’s Volleyball League.
The top six teams from the regular season will square off tonight in playoff action at Fort High, with only two moving on to battle in the final next Thursday (April 16).
Top-seeded One Hit Wonders will meet second-ranked and defending champion Scared Hitless in the ‘A’-side final at 8 p.m.
It will be a far more arduous night for the four teams already on the ‘B’ side of the draw to gain a berth in the title game.
All of them face the prospect of having to win back-to-back-to-back matches tonight to qualify for the final.
Third-ranked Kiss My Pass will tackle fourth-seeded No Diggity in one match-up at 7 p.m.
Meanwhile, fifth-ranked Spiked Punch will battle sixth-ranked Bump it Up, who made the league final last year.
The winners of those two matches will collide at 8 p.m.
The survivor of that battle then will face the loser from the ‘A’-side final at 9 p.m., with the winner advancing to next week’s championship match.
