All the big guns were blazing last night in the Fort Frances Women’s Volleyball League.
The top three teams in the standings all garnered the maximum six points, as did last year’s league finalist in what was their best showing so far this season.
No Diggity (32 points), Kiss My Pass (30), and defending champs How I Set Your Mother (28) each swept their two matches on the night.
Bump it Up, which hadn’t played in four weeks after two rescheduled nights and then a no-show last week, also collected six points to vault into a tie for seventh place with Scared Hitless (14 points).
Let’s Talk About Sets, one of three teams to get skunked last night, sits in fourth place (21), followed by The Inseiners (18) and Gillons’ (16).
One Hit Wonders also were blanked last night to slip into a tie for ninth with Serves You Right (13).
Arm & Hammer, meanwhile, fought its way out of the basement—getting two points to move into 11th (eight)
The Rockstars (seven) were held pointless and only have one in the past six weeks after getting six on opening night.
