Las Vegas Scramble golf

The second-annual Las Vegas Scramble golf tournament at Kitchen Creek rolled the dice Saturday—with eight teams coming out as the big winners.
Some 20 teams of three competed for the top prize of four tickets to Las Vegas courtesy of International Travel Services, Taggs Source for Sports, and La Place Rendez-Vous.
In the end, the threesome of Al Markowski, Cam Jones, and Jack Grant came out on top.
They also will receive four nights’ accomodation from Wendy Spottiswood of Border Travel American Express here.
Meanwhile, the team of Greg Ward, Glenn Jorgenson, and Brian Beers landed a nice consolation prize of a fly-in fishing trip courtesy of Rusty Myers Flying Service for coming second.
The third- through eighth-place teams all received cash prizes.
They included Rob Crowe, Rick Sekulich, and Al Holt (third), Tom Bennett, Ken Bekesi, and Jack Kendall (fourth), Real Cure, Lionel Cure, and Pat Beaudoin (fifth), and Harry Kelly, Skylar Jack, and Neil Herbert (sixth).
Rounding out the prize winners were Mitch Perrault, Andrew Reyda, and Kelly Macaroy (seventh) and Jeromy Wensley, Kevin Jackson, and Sheldon Morrisseau (eighth).
