Large field make of Emo Classic

Close to 50 cars made the Borderland Racing Association’s “Emo Fall Classic” their biggest turnout to date.
Rigs from Dryden, Thunder Bay, and the surrounding district were in town to enjoy the festivities of the double bill racing event.
With five nights of racing remaining, the race for the overall points champions gets more interesting. The only big leader is modifieds racer Gavin Paull’s 90-point cushion Dwayne Pelepetz.
Fifty-nine points separates the top four in the streets division while Kyle Ridlon leads the mini-sprints by a mere point over former champion Ken Perry Sr.
Racing get underway at the Emo Speedway this Saturday with hot laps at 7 p.m.
