Lakers trade away Ross

The Ross brothers are together again.
Reports indicate the Fort Frances Lakers have traded hometown product Nolan Ross to the RBC Cup champion Portage Terriers (MJHL) for future considerations.
The 20-year-old forward then was packaged with his twin brother, defenceman Davis Ross, and sent by the Terriers to the Virden Oil Capitals in an intraleague deal to complete a trade made between the two clubs back in November.
At this point of the year, player transactions cannot officially be announced by Junior ‘A’ teams until June 1.
Nolan Ross joined the Lakers from the Terriers in mid-January, and had nine points in 10 games before suffering a lower-body injury that kept him out of the lineup for the final six weeks of the regular season.
He returned in time for the beginning of the playoffs, when he notched seven points in 10 games as the Lakers successfully defended their SIJHL title.
Then in the Dudley Hewitt Cup, Ross added a goal and two assists in five games.
