Lakers take care of business against Red Lake

Goaltender Nolan Koethler was dialed in as he stopped 41 of 42 shots against as the Fort Frances Lakers beat the Red Lake miners 3-1 on Tuesday night at Ice For Kids Arena. Jack Wood and Landon Lowes scored for the Lakers with Emmerson Evans adding an empty netter with one minute remaining to put the game out of reach. The Lakers sit fifth in SIJHL standings after 14 games.
