Ladies’ volleyball tourney planned

A ladies’ volleyball tournament is in the planning stages for Feb. 14-15, with action to be held at Fort Frances High School.
The entry fee is $200 per team, and the registration deadline is Jan. 22.

The Rainy River Cattlemen’s Association will hold its annual meeting next Wednesday (Jan. 21) at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of the Way School.

Crossroads School here in Devlin is hosting a boys’ basketball tournament on Saturday, Jan. 31, with action beginning at 9 a.m.
Volunteers are needed to help out. This is a great way for high school students to earn their 40 hours of community service needed to graduate.

Kathy Pruys tells me that help has come forward to assist her in preparing the fruit trays for every class at Crossroads. She thanks all helpers for this.
