The next two weekends will be busy ones at the Fort Frances Curling Club.
The annual ladies’ bonspiel gets underway this Friday at 6 p.m., with opening ceremonies slated for 8 p.m.
Action will resume Saturday at 9 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m., although the exact time for the finals has yet to be determined.
“Right now with the low number of teams [16] that are signed up at this point, we might have the last games take place on Saturday night or we might have them take place on Sunday morning,” noted club manager Rick Grenda.
Meanwhile, the club also is looking for entries for the annual men’s bonspiel, which is set for next weekend (Feb. 24-26).
Rinks interested in taking part in either event are asked to contact Grenda at 274-6687.
