After a long winter, the Kitchen Creek Golf Club is set to start its new season tomorrow at 10 a.m.
“We’re all set and ready to go here,” general manager Glen Kellar said earlier today.
The course has undergone general maintenance over the past week to get ready for the 2013 season.
The decision on tomorrow’s start date was made during a board meeting last night.
Heron Landing at Couchiching, meanwhile, remains in a wait-and-see mode when it comes to having golfers out on the course.
The start of its season has been delayed a bit because a couple of the greens currently are being re-seeded as a result of ice damage.
The course is hoping to have its driving range open this weekend, but it is taking a day-to-day approach as to an official opening date.
