Kenora’s cream of the squash crop proved that less sometimes is more.
The visiting contingent was outmanned seven players to five by the host team, but overcame the odds to win 24 games to 18 at the annual Fort Frances/Kenora Squash Challenge here Saturday.
Kenora’s Mark Norton was especially dominant, winning eight of his nine games to lead the way for his side.
Local players taking part included Colin Drombolis, Toby Munroe, Bob Tkachuk, Mark Faragher, Rory Ryan, Brian Beers, and John Bagacki.
A rematch back in Kenora is planned for this spring.
