Junior spikers keep winning

The Muskie junior boys’ volleyball team improved to 5-2 on the season after beating the host Kenora Broncos in four sets on Tuesday.
The Muskies took the first two sets by scores of 25-19 and 25-18. The Broncos fought back for a 25-16 victory in the third set before falling 25-17 in the fourth one.
The Muskie senior girls’ basketball team also came away winners Tuesday in Kenora, topping the Broncos 41-19.
Lauren Gurski led the black-and-gold offensively with 12 points.
Results from the senior boys’ volleyball and junior girls’ basketball teams were not provided to the Times.
All four teams wrap up the NorWOSSA regular season today at home versus the Dryden Eagles.
Fort High then will host the NorWOSSA playoffs next Friday (Nov. 9).
