Zach Koomans and Jamie Veldhuisen scored as ITS (4-1-2) rebounded from its first loss of the season with a 2-0 shutout of Pharmasave (0-7-1) in Borderland Soccer League men’s division action last night.
Brian Bend started between the pipes, then gave way to Britt Green for the second half in what was a shared shutout effort.
ITS was coming off a 1-0 loss to Manitou Forest Products on Tuesday.
Manitou (5-1-2) saw its first-place lead over ITS shrink after only managing a 2-2 tie with the La Place Rendez-Vous U18 Voyageurs (3-3-1).
Dave Carlesimo and Colton Spicer tallied for Manitou while James Pavier went the distance in goal.
Joey Angus and Aaron Kavanaugh scored for the Vous, with Justin Angus patrolling the cage.
The men return to action Tuesday, with Pharmasave challenging Manitou while ITS takes on the Vous.
Game times are at 7 p.m.
