IBRT to wrap up popular series

Press Release

“Radio Icebox,” the sci-fi comedy podcast produced by the Icebox Radio Theater in International Falls, will wrap up its run after the May 15 episode.
“Radio Icebox” debuted in 2015 as part of an effort by the IBRT to attempt a ongoing adventure series.
At its conclusion, the series will have lasted three seasons, accounting for 38 episodes.
“Radio Icebox” tells the story of Icebox, Mn., a fictitious town on the Canadian border where the only available media is the small, mostly legal community radio station called “Radio Icebox.”
The stories focus on the townspeople with special attention paid to the staff of the radio station.
Over the three seasons, the cast of characters have tackled ghosts, aliens, inter-dimensional prison breaks, secret government conspiracies, the infinite universe theory, romance, radio, Lovecraftian horror, and more.
The IBRT will change gears next season and present a series of mystery and horror stories based on works of classic literature by authors such as Edgar Allen Poe and HP Lovecraft.
The IBRT has been producing original plays in International Falls since 2004.
The “Radio Icebox” series will continue to be available at the IBRT’s website, and available for download at Audible.com
