The Clearwater tandem of Wayne and Dean Howard outlasted 19 other boats over the weekend as they took home the 2012 Crow Lake Classic crown.
The Howards’ two-day weight of 30.92 pounds was enough to take this year’s title, as they had a cushion of 3.46 pounds over the second place pairing of Murphy Paypompee and Howard Kabestra.
Steve Hanson and Jamie Kurkoski rounded out the podium with a weight of 26.36 pounds, while Dan Kelly and Dan Joseph came home in fourth spot with a two-day weight of 25.42 pounds.
Rounding out the top five were Myron Tinklenberg and Brent Aalkire, who hauled 25.38 pounds during the course of the weekend.
