‘Harlem Ambassadors’tour coming to Falls

The internationally-acclaimed “Harlem Ambassadors” will be visiting International Falls/Fort Frances for a game at Falls High School on Thursday, April 17 at 6 p.m. as part of their 10th-anniversary tour.
Co-sponsored by the Muskie Sports Association and the Bronco Basketball Boosters, the Harlem Ambassadors offer a unique brand of Harlem-style basketball, featuring high-flying slam dunks, dazzling ball-handling tricks, and hilarious comedy routines.
The Ambassadors will play against our own “international” Can-Am Hoopstars made up of local basketball stars.
It promises be an evening of unforgettable fun!
For the past decade, the Harlem Ambassadors have shared their amazing basketball skills and comedy genius with communities around the world.
A major focus of the Ambassadors is to serve as positive role models for youth. Kids are heavily involved in all of their shows, whether it’s playing games, dancing, or just sitting on the bench and meeting the players.
The Ambassadors set themselves apart from other “Harlem-style” basketball teams by working with local not-for-profit and service organizations, and holding shows as community fundraising events.
For this event, the Ambassadors have partnered with the Muskie Sports Association and the Bronco Basketball Boosters to help raise funds for sports activities for local youths.
Tickets cost $8 for adults and $6 for students in advance, and $10 and $8, respectively, at the door.
Tickets are available in Fort Frances at Betty’s, Northwoods Gallery & Gifts, and La Place Rendez-Vous.
