Joyce Gosselin captured another medal at the 2005 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Nagano, Japan, earning a silver today in the 4x100m snowshoe relay.
She and teammates Josee Camire, Sara Jane Daigle, and Corrie Anne Carlile finished the relay in 4:32.74—second behind the American team that won in a time of 2:30.95.
They were the only two teams competing.
The Fort Frances resident, the oldest competitor in the snowshoeing event, already had captured a silver in the 200m and a gold in the 100m races earlier this week.
