This year’s run took place virtually between January 15 and 31 A little social distancing couldn’t keep the region’s runners down. The 41st annual International Falls Chamber of Commerce Freeze Yer Gizzard Blizzard Run went ahead, as a virtual event. Runners ran where they were any day between January 15 and 31, and posted their results. The virtual format gave the event a global flair – runners from as far away as the United Kingdom joined in the fun. This year’s race saw nine Rainy River District residents join the 10K race, and 23 in the 5K race, including one of the youngest racers, Allegra Brockie, 8.
